This year has been filled with exciting events, milestones, and meaningful partnerships for our team, both in the workplace and beyond. A major highlight was the opening of our new storefront in September, where we celebrated with a lively event featuring music, food, drinks, and raffles with customers, friends, and family. The store opening marking an important step in our growth. In May, we also celebrated the birth of Shea, the first-born child of our co-founder Darragh, bringing a personal joy to our team. Another unforgettable moment was our team fishing trip in June, where we spent an evening on the Long Island Sound enjoying night fishing and bonding as a team. The year concluded in a memorable Christmas party in December at Stephen’s Green, where we reflected on the hard work and achievements of the year with great food, drinks, and sharing of memories.
We also celebrated some special moments outside the office. In July, Peadar, one of our co-founders from County Armagh, returned to Ireland to witness Armagh’s historic win in the All-Ireland Final, their first in over 20 years. This was a deeply personal and exciting moment for Peadar, as his connection to Armagh runs deep.
Additionally, our partnership with Project Children, an organization that holds special meaning for Peadar, was another key focus this year. Peadar himself was one of the children sent to Philadelphia in 1981 to escape the violence in The North of Ireland, an experience that deeply influenced his life and eventual move to The States. In October, we proudly sponsored Project Children’s 5K run and picnic, an event that raised funds for their mission and supported a cause close to our hearts.
Along with all these major events this year, our team enjoyed a variety of other fun and meaningful experiences throughout the year. We supported and attended a range of exciting sporting events, from Jets and Rangers games to Yankee games. We also had the opportunity to attend the Concern Ball, an event supporting global humanitarian efforts, reflecting our commitment to giving back to the community. Throughout the year, we continued our support for local sporting clubs, helping to foster talent and promote wellness in the community. These activities helped to further deepened our relationships and enriched our team’s experiences.
Looking back, it’s been a year of growth, giving back, and celebrating both personal and professional milestones. We are grateful for the strong relationships we’ve built and look forward to even more impactful moments in the year ahead.
