Born in NYC; I’ve been in this industry since 1998 started as a buyer in the morning and a salesman in the afternoon. After learning both sides of the industry I decided to put more focus in the buyer aspect of the business. Loving the opportunity to get better pricing to save the customers money and hearing and seeing the appreciation became rewarding. Fast forward to 2024; I have worked with the biggest entities in the business and have been responsible and trusted for the overseeing and maintaining of eight figure inventories throughout NYC…. This is what I do!

Responsible for overseeing the general operations of the warehouse and its staff to ensure our day to day task are being handled efficiently.

Full Time Athletic Director at PACOY Boys & Girls Club & Director of Softball Operations at Dunwoodie Youth Association in Yonkers NY.

Hobbies include Coaching and Traveling.

I studied Business Management in Dublin City University back in Ireland, and I was lucky to attain vital experience in my proceeding job roles.

From customer service experience in the hospitality industry, to European sales, to assisting the running of projects across a national level in Ireland, I know what it takes to help our team and our clients get the job done.

Construction work runs in my blood, as my own dad is a highly skilled carpenter turned Super, and my brother just completed his carpentry apprenticeship, both with a wealth of knowledge working in the Tri-state area.

I’m delighted to join the MGF team, and with the knowledge and experience each member of our crew has to offer, I know we are the best at what we do.

Meet Ryan Armstrong, our dynamic sales and digital marketing specialist. A recent transplant to New York City following his college graduation, Ryan brings a wealth of experience from his time as a quality assurance representative at an Anheuser-Busch distribution company during his time in college. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results are evident in every aspect of his work.

Outside the office, Ryan is a member of the Longford NY Gaelic football team.

Ryan O’Rourke has a solid foundation in warehouse operations, and he transitioned seamlessly into a dynamic role at The MGF Group as a dedicated salesman. His commitment to excellence, coupled with a keen understanding of customer needs cultivated over the years, drives his passion for delivering exceptional service and forging lasting business relationships. 

When things get hectic on the job site, you need a man like Richie O’Dwyer to keep the show on the road.  Richie is known for building connections and driving sales in the building supplies industry with a personal touch and unwavering work ethic.

Richie combines his professional expertise with genuine connections to elevate the experience for The FMG Group. He knows that hard work pays off.

Peadar McArdle, originally from Armagh, is a highly skilled carpenter with a distinguished career in the building supply industry. After enhancing his expertise through upskilling opportunities in Boston, Peadar relocated to New York, where he excelled in various sales and distribution roles. His contributions significantly boosted company performance and profitability, earning him the Exceptional Sales and Performance Award in 2019 and 2021 for surpassing budgeted sales targets.

During his tenure at Bostik, Peadar specialized as a self-leveling expert, which allowed him to further hone his skills and industry knowledge. It was here that he met Darragh, with whom he established a strong professional rapport. Peadar is widely respected for his extensive industry experience, unwavering commitment, and exceptional drive.

A dedicated supporter of Armagh GAA, Peadar recently celebrated the Orchard County's notable victory at Croke Park in July 2024. He is married to Shirley and is the proud father of three children: Sophie, Pierce, and Kate.

Darragh Garvey, a Dublin native who moved to New York in 2013, quickly found his niche in the building supplies industry. His exceptional talent for fostering strong customer relationships and his unwavering commitment to service have set him apart in this dynamic and competitive field. Known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail, Darragh excels at delivering outstanding service that consistently meets and exceeds client expectations.

Over the years, Darragh has built a robust client base throughout New York and its surrounding areas, driven by his dedication to understanding and addressing each client's unique needs. His profound industry knowledge and focus on exceptional customer service have earned him respect and recognition in his profession.

Outside of work, Darragh is an avid supporter of Dublin GAA. He and his wife Niamh are thrilled to have recently welcomed their first child, marking an exciting new chapter in their lives.
